Pointscore Competition - Calculating Results

Points are awarded to each dog owned by a member on the following basis:

Best of Breed:

12 points

Runner Up Best of Breed:

10 points

 Challenge:

  8 points

Reserve Challenge:

  6 points

 1st in Class:

 

  1 point + 1 point for
  each dog/bitch beaten
  to a maximum of 3 points

2nd in Class:
 

  1 point + 1 point if there
  is a 3rd place awarded

 3rd in Class:

  1 point

 Best in Class:

 

 

 

  Maximum of 4 points
  NB: Only awarded if the
  class is contested  by the
  opposite sex. The Best in
  class winner is awarded
  1 point more than the

POINTS ARE NOT CUMULATIVE, i.e. the Best of Breed scores a maximum of 12 point only.
