The Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Western Australia (Inc.) was founded by a
small group of enthusiasts in 1981. The Club became incorporated in 1989 and
affiliated with the Canine Association of Western Australia in 1990.
In addition to its formal activities, which consist of conducting a
Championship Show and an Open Show each year, the Club runs a variety of fun
events for members. It also offers a
"Rhodesian Ridgeback Handbook" to assist members of the general public in the
search for the right canine companion for their families.
